Delete your account

Last updated: 12 July 2026

This page explains how to delete your Frontier account and the data linked to it. Frontier is operated by Daniel Bywater. You can play Frontier without an account at all — if you’ve only ever played as a guest, no account exists to delete (see Privacy Policy).

Delete from the app (fastest)

  • Open Frontier.
  • Go to Settings (the gear icon).
  • Under Account, tap Delete account, then confirm.

Your account and everything linked to it are removed immediately and permanently — this can’t be undone.

Request deletion by email

If you’ve uninstalled the app or can’t sign in, email daniel.bywater@gmail.com from the email address on your account (or tell us your display name) and ask us to delete your account. We’ll verify the request and delete it within 30 days, usually much sooner.

What gets deleted

Deleting your account permanently removes all data linked to it:

  • your email address and display name;
  • your game statistics — games played, wins, and Elo rating;
  • your avatar, cosmetics, coins and XP;
  • your friends and friend connections;
  • your notification (push) subscriptions.

What we keep

We do not retain your personal data after your account is deleted, except where the law requires us to keep limited records. Guest and solo progress that lives only in your browser’s local storage on your own device is never sent to us — clear your browser or app data to remove that.

How long it takes

  • In-app deletion: immediate.
  • Email requests: completed within 30 days of verifying the request.
